Holland beat Urugay by 3-2 to get into the finals of 2010 world cup after 32 years.The match was very thrilling as the match went into extra time and now they will play either spain or germany. The first goal of the match was scored by the ducth team in the 25 th mintue which was a header and the goalkeeper was not able to save it. Then at half time the score was tied at 1-1. The second half started with Uruguary scoring in the 65 th minute and then holland striker robben scored in 82 mintue. This match went right down to the wire and hope that the Germany spain match also turns like that. Now urugay will play the losers of Germany and spain match for the 3rd and 4th postion.

The match between India and srilanka

India defeated the Srilankans in the Asia cup final by 81 runs to lift the trophy after 15 years. India won the toss and elected to bat and scored a good score of 268for 6 in 50 overs with dinesh kartihk scoring 66, MS dhoni scoring 38, surehsh raina scoring 25 runs and jadeja remained not out on 25. The srilankns did not start well losing 5 wickets for 51 with nehra picking up 3 wickets , Praveen kumar 1 and zaheer also 1. After that some partnership was going but the run out of Kandamby snatced the match from the Lankans. The man of match was awareded to dinesh kartihk and man of series was given to shaid afradi.
